One example of Messer's system technology is the ELEMENT L laser cutting machine. Equipped with the Bevel-U bevel cutting head, specially developed for the laser process, it produces precise and repeatable beveled parts with angles of up to ±50°. The bevel angle can be continuously adjusted during the cutting process, allowing for the creation of different edge profiles for subsequent welding processes. The robust machine platform is designed for the cost-effective processing of even large sheets and offers numerous flexible configuration options. Additional processing steps, such as drilling or marking, can be integrated directly into the process. High safety standards ensure reliable employee protection.
Optimal material flow is also a key requirement for efficient production processes. Messer Cutting Systems offers flexible handling and sorting systems that can be adapted to various standard and special sheets as well as individual customer requirements. One example is the ICSORT system, which automates loading, unloading, and sorting processes. This increases machine uptime and production output, while sorting processes can also be carried out outside of regular production hours. At the same time, automated solutions help to counteract the increasing shortage of skilled workers.
The modular software solution OmniFab ensures the digital networking of manufacturing. It connects machines, automation systems, and ERP structures to form a seamless digital process chain. Order and production data are displayed transparently and can be traced.
